The ending

I ended up finishing the book, The Choice, by Nicholas Sparks. It had such a sad tone to it as the book was coming to an end although it had a happy ending. As Travis walked to the hospital he knew it was the day he had to make the choice. One day while Travis and Gaby were coming home from an event it was pouring rain and they got in a car accident. Travis had minor injuries while Gaby on the other hand fell into a coma. For three months Travis mourned and hoped that the day she would wake up would be soon. It never came. The doctors told him once three months were up Travis could make a decision whether to cut the feeding tubes from Gaby or put her in another location out of the hospital. Although Gaby had told him if this were to ever happen, she would want him to move on, Travis had faith. A few weeks after, he got a phone call from the home Gaby was in saying that she had woken up. After not seeing each other in a while it was amazing to see each other again and I thought it was a very cute way to end the book!
